The National Testing Agency is conducting the Session 2 of JEE Main 2024. The morning shift exam of April 5 is over and as per the expert's analysis, NTA increased the difficulty level of the morning shift exam.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is conducting session 2 of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2024. For the morning shift examination of April 5, NTA increased the difficulty level, as per the experts. Out of the three sections, Physics was the easiest, followed by Chemistry, which had moderate difficulty-level questions, and then Mathematics, which had tricky questions.

PHYSICS

As per the feedback given by the students, the Physics section was easy. Questions from Thermodynamics, Magnetism, Current Electricity, Modern Physics, and Electro-statistics were duly presented in the paper. Most of the questions were from the Class 12 syllabus.

CHEMISTRY

In the Chemistry section, most of the questions were theoretical. Questions from prominent chapters like Hydrocarbons, Electrochemistry, Equilibrium, and Alcohol, Phenol and Ethers, p-block were asked. Overall, the coverage of the chapters was uniform and almost all the questions were more or less related to or asked from NCERT only.

MATHEMATICS

The Mathematics section was moderately difficult. Questions from Calculus were dominant, followed by Vectors & 3D, Matrices and Determinants. The paper also had questions from Quadratic Equations and Binomial Theorem. In comparison to the Class 11 and 12 syllabus, most of the questions were asked from the Class 12 syllabus only.

Overall, many students found the mathematics section to be difficult in comparison to Physics and Chemistry.
