Dr. Mahendra Nath Pandey, the BJP candidate, emerged victorious, securing an impressive 414,135 votes, which amounted to 42.23% of the total votes polled. Pandey's resounding victory reflected the BJP's strong connect with the electorate and their ability to garner widespread support across the constituency.
The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) had to settle for the runner-up position, with their candidate, Anil Kumar Maurya, garnering 257,379 votes, translating to 26.25% of the total votes cast. Despite putting up a spirited fight, the BSP fell short by a considerable margin, highlighting the BJP's dominance in the region.
The 2019 Lok Sabha elections in Chandauli witnessed a closely contested battle between the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Samajwadi Party (SP). Dr. Mahendra Nath Pandey of the BJP managed to retain his seat, securing 510,733 votes, which amounted to 47.07% of the total votes polled. Pandey's victory underscored the BJP's continued popularity and influence in the region.
However, the SP put up a strong fight, with their candidate, Sanjay Singh Chauhan, emerging as the runner-up. Chauhan garnered an impressive 496,774 votes, translating to 45.79% of the total votes cast.
