Additionally, the initiative supported the transition of 2,13,000 farmers to tree-based agriculture, aiming to enhance the river's ecosystem and improve the economic prospects of local farmers.

The success of Cauvery Calling is exemplified by the collaborative efforts between volunteers, farmers, and government agencies. In Karnataka, the state Forest Department played a crucial role in increasing sapling production and distribution to farmers. Efforts are also underway to streamline tree felling and transit laws to support the movement's objectives.
In Tamil Nadu, Cauvery Calling's nursery in Cuddalore boasts an annual production capacity of 85 lakh saplings, while the Thiruvannamalai nursery can produce 15 lakh saplings annually. These nurseries supply saplings to 39 distribution centers across the state, offering a variety of high-value timber tree species at subsidized rates to farmers.

Moreover, Cauvery Calling has initiated innovative programs like the production franchise, empowering farmers to become financially self-reliant. The pilot program received overwhelming participation, with young farmers showing keen interest in agriculture.

To ensure the success of tree-based agriculture, over 160 field executives were deployed to provide free consultations to farmers and conduct soil and water testing on farmlands. The movement also organized training programs, drawing participation from thousands of farmers and collaboration with renowned agriculture institutes and scientists.
Furthermore, Cauvery Calling actively engages in plantation drives during significant environmental events, resulting in the planting of 14 lakh saplings across various occasions.
As Cauvery Calling continues to expand its reach and impact, it signifies a concerted effort towards sustainable agriculture, environmental conservation, and community empowerment in the Cauvery basin.
