Car stolen with baby inside in Manhattan: NYPD

MANHATTAN, N.Y. (PIX11) – A car was snatched with a 1-year-old inside outside of a preschool in Manhattan Tuesday morning, according to the NYPD.

The child was found shortly after, police said.

The car was taken just before 9 a.m. Tuesday on West 134th Street near Frederick Douglass Boulevard, police said. The vehicle was found on 72nd Street and First Avenue, police said.

This is the second such incident in just three days. On Sunday, a car was stolen in the Bronx with a 6-month-old baby inside, police said.
