A California man got an unexpected visitor while washing dishes, a trespassing bear. Jason Wightman, a resident of Sierra Madre, was in his kitchen when he noticed the bear in his doorway. Quickly grabbing his phone, he recorded the unusual encounter and posted the video on Facebook.
In the video, Wightman can be heard addressing the bear, saying, "Hello, are you nice? You're in my house. Get out of my house." Despite his calm demeanour, Wightman admitted he was stunned by the bear's intrusion. "I don't even remember what I was saying," he told KCAL-TV. "It was happening so fast. There was a bear in my kitchen."

Bears are a common sight in Sierra Madre, but finding one inside his home was a shock for Wightman. The video quickly garnered attention on social media, with many viewers amused by Wightman's polite approach to asking the bear to leave.
Local authorities have reminded residents to secure their homes and remove attractants, like food, that might lure bears inside.
