Boy, 8, caught with gun at Brooklyn school: NYPD

NEW YORK (PIX11) --- An 8-year-old boy brought a gun to a Brooklyn school Thursday morning, officials said.

The weapon was found in the student's backpack at PS 158 at 400 Ashford St. near Pitkin and Belmont avenues at around 10:35 a.m., according to the NYPD. The child threatened a student with the same gun on Wednesday, police said.

There were no injuries in either incident.
