BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) – A 12-year-old boy was pinned between subway train cars in Brooklyn on Monday, sources told PIX11 News.
It happened on a southbound M train near Myrtle Avenue around 8:15 a.m.
The boy was walking between train cars when he fell, pinning his leg, according to sources.
Sources said the victim was taken to a local hospital in stable condition.
There is no J train service between Broadway Junction and Broad Street, according to the MTA’s website. M trains have been suspended in both directions.
Travelers can take the M90 shuttle bus or the B46, B54 and Q54 buses as an alternative to M train service in Brooklyn. A B25, B46, B60 or Q24 bus works as alternatives to the J train, according to the MTA.
To get to Manhattan from Brooklyn and vice versa, straphangers can take an A, C or L train and transfer at Broadway Junction.
