Pandya's acknowledgment of Bumrah's contribution highlights the importance of teamwork and the valuable impact each player brings to the team's success in the IPL.

"Always good to win. The way we have won - it is quite impressive. The impact player has given the opportunity to use an extra bowler if we require. It gives me a cushion as well. The way Ro (Rohit) and (Ishan) Kishan batted, giving the platform, it was important for us to finish it early. We did not speak about it. That is the beauty of this team, players know what to do. I am blessed to have Bumrah in my side. He does it over and over again. He practices a lot. The amount of experience and confidence he has is tremendous. Whatever the situation requires - last game I had to take some time, and this game's scenario was different," In Pandya said at the post-match presentation.

In the thrilling encounter, MI won the toss and elected to bowl first. Despite early dismissals of Virat Kohli (3) and Will Jacks (8), RCB's skipper Faf Du Plessis (61 off 40 balls) and Rajat Patidar (50 off 26 balls) orchestrated a formidable partnership of 82 runs for the third wicket.
Their aggressive batting, complemented by some fine finishing from Dinesh Karthik (53* off 23 balls), propelled RCB to a competitive total of 196/8 in their allotted 20 overs. Apart from Bumrah's remarkable figures of 5/21, Shreyas Gopal, Gerald Coetzee, and Akash Madhwal also contributed with a wicket each.
In response, MI's openers Ishan Kishan (69 off 34 balls) and Rohit Sharma (38 off 24 balls) laid a solid foundation for the chase, followed by a blistering innings from Suryakumar Yadav (52 off 19 balls).
Their aggressive batting display ensured that RCB had no respite, as Mumbai Indians sealed the win comfortably in just 15.3 overs. Bumrah's stellar performance earned him the 'Player of the Match' award.
With this victory, MI climbed to the seventh spot in the IPL standings with two wins and three losses, accumulating four points. On the other hand, RCB find themselves at the ninth spot, having secured only one win and suffering five losses, gathering just two points.
