BJP MP Ramesh Jigajinagi hospitalised in Belagavi

BELAGAVI: The senior BJP leader and

Vijayapura MP

Ramesh Jigajinagi was admitted to

KLE Hospital

in

Belagavi

on Sunday. He has been facing

chest pain

besides minor bleeding in the brain.
According to the hospital sources, the health condition of Jigajinagi is stable. However, he is still in ICU as a precautionary measure. The bleeding in the brain problem has already cleared and chest pain is also down now.

Speaking to the TOI, hospital authorities cleared that the chest pain is not in any way related to the heart. He is alright and talking normally with the visitors.
Jigajinagi is a six-time MP and three-time MLA.

Seventy-one-year-old leader won three times from the Chikodi Lok Sabha seat in 1998, 1999, and 2004 and three times from Vijayapura in 2009, 2014, and 2019. Before that, he was an MLA from Ballolli assembly constituency in Vijayapura district for three times from 1983 to 1998.
