THANE: A biker died in an accident on
Waghbil flyover
bridge after coming in between two-heavy vehicles on Wednesday. The deceased has been identified as
Vasanth Naddoni
, a resident of Lokmanya nagar, the police said.
The complainant in the case is a police constable attached to
Kasarwadavali police station
. He said the incident occurred around 3pm while he was travelling towards Ghodbunder road.
The police said the biker reportedly came in between the two
heavy vehicles
and the one on his left side brushed him due to which he lost control and came under the tanker on his right side. He was rushed to a private hospital in Manpada but succumbed while undergoing treatment. The police registered a case under IPC section 304-A (causing death by negligence or a rash act.) and relevant sections of the motor vehicle act.
The accused drivers are yet to be identified.
