BENGALURU: The

Rameshwaram Cafe

in Bengaluru's Whitefield area, which was closed for almost eight days following an explosion that injured ten people, reopened for customers on Saturday morning.
The cafe, known for its popularity, welcomed customers amid tight security arrangements. Before opening the cafe, co-founder Raghavendra Rao and the staff gathered to sing the National Anthem, symbolizing their resilience.

Extensive renovations have been carried out to ensure a safer environment for the customers.
"We are taking all the security measures to avoid such incidents in the future. We are strengthening our security team, and are also trying to have a panel of ex-servicemen to train our security guards," Raghavendra Rao said.

Earlier on Friday, Raghavendra Rao said, "We have given all CCTV footage and information to the authorities. We are cooperating with them. We are very thankful to the government for helping us reopen the cafe so soon."
"NIA will soon bring the culprit before us. We have taken all precautions before reopening. The government and police have guided us on where to install more CCTVs. We will appoint one person just to keep watch on the premises," he added.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has announced a reward of Rs 10 lakh for anyone providing information about the bomber responsible for the blast. The NIA has also assured the informants that their identities will be kept confidential.
A picture of the bomber, captured from the CCTV footage while placing a bag in the Rameshwaram Cafe, has been released by the agency. The NIA has emphasized that any information leading to the arrest of the bomber will be rewarded. The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has handed over the case to the NIA, three days after the blast occurred.
The blast, which took place during the busy lunch hour, left several people injured. The Bengaluru Police had registered a case under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act and Explosives Substances Act in connection with the explosion.
The police investigation has revealed that an IED device with a timer was used in the blast. With the cafe reopening and the investigation ongoing, the authorities are determined to ensure the safety and security of the public.
The incident has raised concerns about security measures and the need for vigilance in crowded places. The reopening of the cafe is a positive step towards restoring normalcy and instilling confidence among the customers. The support and cooperation of the public in providing information to the NIA will be crucial in apprehending the bomber and preventing further incidents.
As the investigation progresses, the authorities will continue to update the public on any developments. It is important for everyone to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the authorities.
The reopening of the Rameshwaram Cafe marks a significant milestone in the healing process and sends a message of resilience and unity to the community.
