HELL’S KITCHEN, N.Y. (PIX11) – The MTA is looking into a mysterious bell ringing at the 50th Street 1 train station, a spokesperson told PIX11 News.

The noise sounds like a school bell and has been ringing for at least two with no obvious source, locals told the New York Post. The sound is playing in the stairwell of the station on Broadway and 50th Street.
