and claims to have pioneered
excess baggage services
in India, announced the rollout of its operations at Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA).
The company offers excess baggage and package services for international and domestic markets, starting at Rs 89 per kg as against Rs 500 per kg that domestic airlines currently charge.
The company offers door-to-door pickup and delivery services across India, serving over 25,000 pincodes and ships to over 190 countries globally.

said the company, which started out in 2018 and already has operations at airports such as Delhi, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Guwahati and Lucknow, is now expanding operations to other cities such as Mumbai, Chennai, Mangalore, Kochi, Coimbatore, Srinagar, Varanasi and the upcoming Noida international airport, among others.

, Airport Authority of India, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation, Makemytrip as well as Encalm Hospitality, is also in the process of tying up with the Taj group of hotels for facilitating transport of excess baggage for guests, Singh said.
Avaan helps eliminate baggage restrictions and reduces wait times at check-in counters, redefining the excess baggage industry and facilitating hassle-free travel, Singh said.
