Apple Pencil Pro, new Magic Keyboard: Price and availability
The
Apple Pencil
Pro will be compatible with the new M2
iPad
Air models as well M4 iPad Pro models and is priced at Rs 11,900.
The Magic Keyboard will be available in black and white finishes. It can be purchased for Rs 29,900 for the 11-inch and Rs 33900 for the 13-inch models, respectively. This new accessory also comes with layouts for over 30 languages.
Moreover, the new Smart Folio will be available in charcoal grey, light violet, denim and sage colours. It is priced at Rs 8,500 for the new 11-inch iPad Air and Rs 10,900 for the new 13-inch iPad Air.
These accessories are now available for pre-order. Customers who pre-orders the accessories now will be able to pick up the devices from their nearest
Apple Stores
on May 15. Meanwhile, the company will start shipping the accessories starting May 16.
Apple Pencil Pro: Key highlights
The Apple Pencil Pro features new capabilities and supports powerful interactions to offer an improved experience. This new acesosry comes with a new sensor in the barrel that can sense a user’s squeeze. With this sensor, users can bring up a tool palette to quickly switch tools, line weights and colours.
The latest accessory also features a custom haptic engine that delivers a light tap that provides confirmation when users squeeze, use double-tap, or snap to a Smart Shape for an enhanced experience.
This accessory even has a gyroscope that allows users to roll Apple Pencil Pro for precise control of the tool they’re using. Rotating the barrel will change the orientation of shaped pen and brush tools, just like on pen and paper.
With Apple Pencil hover, users can also visualise the exact orientation of a tool before making a mark.
Moreover, if users misplace the Apple Pencil Pro they can easily locate it in the Find My app. Apple Pencil Pro will also attach, pair, and charges magnetically on the side of the iPad.
Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro: Key highlights
The new Magic Keyboard has a sleek, portable design with aluminium palm rest and will offer a new typing and trackpad experience. The new Magic Keyboard is thinner and lighter Magic Keyboard makes the new iPad Pro more portable and versatile than ever.
The keyboard includes a 14-key function row for quick access to features like screen brightness and volume controls, and a USB‑C connector for pass-through charging. Its floating cantilever design adjusts to multiple viewing angles.
The keyboard has a new larger trackpad with haptic feedback and is perfect for precision tasks like editing a spreadsheet and selecting text, or navigating the latest iPad Pro models with intuitive and familiar Multi-Touch gestures. The accessory also has a durable outer cover that will provide both front and back protection for improved portability.
Meanwhile, the new Smart Folio for iPad Pro attaches magnetically and now supports multiple viewing angles for greater flexibility. It is available in black, white, and denim, it complements the colours of the new iPad Pro.
