Kavya gives
Vanraj
tiffin, but he mocks her for attending to his wants and encourages her to focus on her career instead.
Baa
appears and hands him the charger. Vanraj informs Baa that Kavya is leaving for her employment interview. Kavya seeks Baa's blessings and informs her that she is returning to work after a lengthy absence, asking Baa not to be offended.
Baa blesses her but questions why she has to work since Vanraj is earning well. Kavya tells Baa that she wants to work since she has a habit of working and wants to contribute to the household. Vanraj warns Kavya to be cautious because she has always had his support while working in the business sector.
Kavya returns it to Vanraj and informs him that she, too, supported him during his career. Vanraj and Kavya had a disagreement about her employment. Kavya tells Vanraj that he is jealous of her career since she is a model. Kavya receives a call from her daughter Maahi's dormitory and finds that Maahi is unwell once more.
She informs Baa that she must visit the hostel and will not be able to work today. Baa is concerned about Maahi. Vanraj informs Baa that youngsters at the dormitory often pretend to be unwell in order to attract the attention of their moms. Vanraj is chastised by Baa for saying this, telling him that he can tease Kavya and be upset, but not drag Maahi.
Toshu calls Vanraj. Vanraj is taken aback when he receives a phone call from Toshu after years of silence. He inquires of Toshu about the well-being of himself, Kinjal, and Pari. Toshu assures him that everything is in order. Toshu informs him that Kinjal calls them frequently. Toshu informs Vanraj that they may talk about it later. He informs Vanraj that he saw
Anupama
in the United States.
Toshu claims that he has not met Anupama and has no plans to see her because he has ended his previous relationship. Vanraj wonders why he bothers phoning his father. Toshu informs Vanraj that he phoned to alert him that if Anupama inquired about his presence in the United States, he should lie to Anupama.
Anupama is concerned about seeing Toshu. Vikram attempts to cheer her up, but she is drowsy. Vikram inquires as to why she is lost. Anupama informs Vikram that she visited his son and grandchildren in the United States. She informs him that they were in the UK but may have relocated here. She admits to him that she may have imagined but is unsure.
Anupama becomes distraught and tells Vikram that her son neglected her, but she finds it difficult to accept that he ignored her. Anupama talks about how she cared about her relationship but left it to come to the United States. She expressed her desire to meet her children as a mother.
Anupama cries down as she tells Vikram that she can
forget
everyone but her children. Anupama is about to pass out, but Vikram brings her some water and begs her not to be weak since Yashpal is on his way and won't understand her emotions. Vikram cheers her up by telling her that Shruti and her fiance are coming for breakfast and that she should wow them with her cooking.
Shruti, Aadhya, and
Anuj
arrive at Anupama's restaurant and proceed to walk towards it.
Aadhya
is concerned that Anuj would see Anupama. Everyone is startled to hear a fire alarm. Vikram informs Anupama that the bakery across the street from their restaurant is on fire. Anuj catches sight of Anupama, but Aadhya orders him to leave.
Aadhya takes Shruti and Anuj's hands in his and leads them to their car. Shruti informs Anuj that she hoped to have him meet Joshi Ben, but fate had other plans. Shruti and Anuj are asked to sit in the car by Aadhya. Anupama notices that the table she had set up for Anuj, Shruti, and Aadhya has been destroyed. Anuj believes he did not meet Joshi Ben today but will do so soon. The episode concludes.
