(Gaurav Khanna) was also present, and he is caught between Aadhya (Aura Bhatnagar) and Shruti (Sukriti Kandpal). However, Anuj resolves to stay back for a day to find the

culprit

so that Anu can come out clean in front of the world. Anuj examines the CCTV tape and is shocked to discover who the true perpetrator is, which is

Toshu

, as expected.
Aadhya, who is caring for an ailing Shruti in the hospital because she is unable to recover from her parents' deaths, discovers that her father Anuj is not coming to India despite her insistence, and she learns of Anu's arrest and becomes extremely upset that Anuj has neglected her once more because of Anupamaa.
After watching the CCTV tape, Anuj calls Anupamaa in the third episode and informs her that it was Toshu who stole the jewellery and placed it in her handbag. Anu is devastated after discovering the truth and cannot accept that her son can fall so low.
As Anupamaa returns to the restaurant, she gets a warm welcome from her colleagues and they celebrate her return. Anupamaa thanks them and gets emotional. She calls her colleagues, and her family away from home. In the meantime, Anuj reaches out to help Anupamaa but comes to know that Yashdeep and Kinjal were already there around her.

The next day decides to go to Kinjal's place. Vanraj is left in

shock

when he sees Anupamaa at the doorstep. He refuses to believe that his son Toshu could do something like this and trap his mother in a crime that led her to jail.
