Big B was seen looking for his place on stage when he noticed a specially-abled fan approaching him. The actor warmly greeted her, and she bowed down to show her respect to him. In return, the legendary star acknowledged her love with folded hands. This heartwarming interaction brought a big smile to the girl's face and had the internet applauding his humility.
For the unversed, Bachchan was recognized with the Deenanath Mangeshkar Award for his significant contributions to the film industry.
While speaking to the audience gathered for the special occasion, he shared, "I consider myself fortunate to receive this award today. I never truly saw myself as deserving of such recognition, but Hridyanath ji made great efforts for me to be here. He even extended an invitation to me for this ceremony last year."
"I want to apologize to you, Hridaynath ji, for last time. I had mentioned that I was unwell then. The truth is, I was in good health but I simply didn't feel like attending. However, this year, I had no excuse, so I made sure to be present," he stated, as reported by PTI.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Amitabh will be seen next in Nag Ashwin's 'Kalki 2898 AD'. In the film, he will take on the role of Ashwatthama. It also stars Prabhas, Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani in prominent roles.
