When questioned about a new project from the YRF Spy Universe, YRF CEO

Akshaye Widhani

disclosed that Alia Bhatt is set to lead a Spy Universe film, with filming slated to commence later this year. He expressed the studio's enthusiasm for the spy universe IP and their excitement about its future.

He further emphasized the significance of the YRF Spy Universe, labeling it as both a financial and cultural powerhouse.

With immense pride in the IP, he hinted at numerous upcoming projects within the spy universe. While not revealing all details at the moment, he assured that more information would be shared at a more appropriate time. However, he reiterated that Alia Bhatt's involvement in a spy universe film is confirmed.

Previous reports indicated that Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh will collaborate in an upcoming action-packed film. They are expected to portray super-agents in the movie, which is yet to be titled. Aditya Chopra is said to have enlisted Shiv to helm the project.
