NEW DELHI: A clash between two groups erupted at

Jawaharlal Nehru University

over the selection of election committee members at the

School of Languages

on Friday night, leaving some

students injured

The university official reported that the injured students have been admitted to

Safdarjung Hospital

Disturbing videos

have emerged showing the violence. In one video, a man can be seen attacking students with a stick, while in another, someone throws a bicycle at them.
Additional videos depict individuals being mobbed and beaten by a group, despite the university's security personnel attempting to intervene.

Following the altercation, students from both the

ABVP

and

Left

groups have filed police complaints against each other.
The university administration has yet to comment on the incident, and the exact number of injured students remains unconfirmed.
