4 men steal thousands of dollars of Chanel merchandise in Brooklyn: NYPD

BROOKLYN (PIX11) -- Four robbers stole thousands of dollars in merchandise from the Chanel store in Williamsburg on Thursday, according to the NYPD.

The suspects walked into a Chanel Fragrance and Beauty Boutique at 130 North Sixth Street at 12:47 p.m. and took $5,000 worth of goods, police said.

All four suspects fled the scene on foot. No injuries were reported.

An investigation remains ongoing, authorities said.

This latest luxury store heist comes nearly two weeks after multiple suspects allegedly robbed a Manhattan Gucci store of $51,000 of merchandise. On Tuesday, one of the alleged suspects was arrested in Maryland, police stated.
