Maoists
, including a militia commander, were shot dead in two separate
encounters
with
security forces
in
Bastar
's Bijapur and Kanker districts, Chhattisgarh, since Friday. A Sten gun was recovered from one of the slain Maoists.
Security forces also destroyed a Maoist camp in Hingmeta and seized a tiffin bomb, two guns, and material for IEDs. tnn
