25-year-old Indian woman goes missing in New York City, police seek public help in finding her

NEW DELHI: The

New York City

police department is actively seeking information from the public to assist in locating 25-year-old Ferin Khoja, an

Indian woman

who has gone missing. Khoja was last seen leaving her residence in Queens on March 1 at around 11 pm.
According to official reports, Khoja was dressed in an olive green jacket, green sweater, and blue jeans at the time of her disappearance.

The New York City police department has disclosed that she "suffers from bipolar disorder."
The 112 Precinct

Detective Squad

is currently making efforts to locate Khoja, as stated by the police department, which has also released her photograph to aid in the search.
The Consulate General of India in New York has been notified about the case and is actively working to gather information about Khoja and determine her current whereabouts. Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward and assist in the ongoing efforts to find Ferin Khoja.
