NEW YORK (PIX11) --- An opera singer, a one-woman band, and a jazz saxophonist are among the 25 acts chosen to entertain New Yorkers in the city's transit system.
The 25 winners auditioned for the right to croon in subway stations and were chosen from 130 artists who applied to the MTA's Music Under New York program, officials said Thursday.
The selected acts will be assigned space at transit hubs for special performances.
