2 miscreants barge into judge’s chamber in Gujarat court, assault him

VADODARA: In a shocking incident, additional chief judicial magistrate in

Borsad court

in

Anand district

was attacked by two unidentified

assailants

in his chamber on Friday afternoon.
Two people barged into the chamber of MD Nandani, additional chief judicial magistrate at around 2.35pm and started hurling expletives at him. Police said they hit him on his head, tore the buttons of his shirt and tried to attack with the the wooden teapoy that broke during the assault.
The duo also allegedly threatened the judicial magistrate with dire consequences and fled from the premises.

A complaint regarding the attack has been registered by court registrar L A Pancholi.

"The entire incident occurred within a couple of minutes when the peon had gone to get tea," said Pramodkumar K Diyora, deputy superintendent of police (DySP), Petlad.
The police are looking into all the possible motives behind the attack. "We have formed different teams of the special operation group, the local crime branch and the staff to search and arrest the assailants," said Diyora.
