THE BRONX (PIX11) -- Police are looking for a suspect after an 18-year-old was attacked on an MTA bus in the Bronx.
The incident happened around 11:20 p.m. on May 10.
Police say the victim was riding a Bx19 bus near Jennings Street and Southern Boulevard when an unknown individual started a verbal dispute. The victim was then hit in the head with a metal pipe.
The suspect, described as a man around 5'11'' and 200 pounds, fled the scene. The suspect was last seen wearing a black shirt that reads "security" on the back and blue jeans.
The victim sustained a laceration to the head and was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
The NYPD released the following surveillance video of the suspect.
