NEW DELHI: 15 people were killed after a Russian
military cargo plane
crashed on Tuesday. The crashed occurred when one of the
aircraft
engines caught on fire, Reuters reported.
Russia's defense ministry
said that the plane crashed in the Ivanono region. According to online news services in Russia, there were no survivors.
Unverified videos circulating on Russian
social media
showed the aircraft with a flaming engine descending, while a helicopter hovered nearby amidst a rising plume of smoke.
