THANE: A
12-year-old boy
has been booked for strangulating a grade 4 student at civic school in January last year. The
murder case
was registered after the mother of the victim moved to the court and filed a
complaint
. The court then, under 156(3) CrPC directed the
Kapurbawdi police
to register the offence and investigate the same.
In her complaint, she alleged that an eye witness informed her that an altercation ensued within the school premises between the accused boy and the deceased aged-10.
The accused sat on the victim's chest and
choked him to death
.
