Kaokalam

, according to a report by the Australian Broadcasting Corp (ABC) on Friday. The incident occurred around 3 am on Thursday.
The broadcaster also reported that the recovery of bodies is currently underway in the aftermath of the disaster.

Videos shared on social media depict residents scaling massive rocks and pulling bodies from the rubble and beneath trees.
