BRS MLA G Lasya Nanditha
, 36, died in a
road accident
in Hyderabad on Friday morning, just 10 days after cheating death when her car was involved in a freak road accident in which a home guards jawan was killed.
However, Nanditha could not survive the second accident. The brand-new SUV, which she had been using after the first accident, hit a
crash
barrier on Hyderabad's Outer Ring Road at such a high speed that its front section was totally smashed.
Such was the severity of the accident that Nanditha, who was sitting next to her driver-cum-PA Akash with her seatbelt on, is believed to have died on the spot despite the airbags deploying. She was declared brought dead at Gandhi hospital.
A telephone call made by Akash to his sister informing her about the accident and the location just before he lost consciousness helped cops reach the spot quickly. Akash, who was employed recently by Nanditha, has been hospitalised in a critical condition.
